Atlanta Celebrates Purim!

Purim with Bnei Akiva Atlanta was jam-packed this year! The fun began last Sunday at our Pre-Purim Prep Party where chanichim had a blast making groggers and Mishloach Manot, coloring Megillot, and painting masks. Then, we held our annual Shabbat Zachor Family Shabbaton with over 90 people! (Shout out to Rav James for flying down to help out!) Friday night was filled with Zmirot, ruach, and an amazing family style game of charades. On Shabbos day, we had a great lunch with all the chanichim followed by an incredible Purim Snif! After Shabbos, all our Madrichim spent hours decorating our float for the annual Purim Parade and Carnival! We rented a U-Haul, bought 12 bales of hay, and created an amazing “Kibbutz Bnei Akiva” float which came in 3rd place! BAA Purim fun ended after handing out Mishloach Manot to the community after Megillah reading on Purim day. We can’t wait for Purim next year!
