UNLOCKING INVOLVEMENT:FIVE METHODS FOR BOGERS

HANHALA ARTZIT:

  • The national board for BANA
  • Involved in planning and implementing widespread initiatives and programing
  • Works closely with the Mazkir Artzi
  • First bogrim to get invited to Shabbatonim/ other national events
  • Best for people who have prior BA/Moshava experience and looking to make a big impact on the movement as a whole

COLLEGE CAMPUS LIAISON:

  • In charge of maintaining a BA presence on their campus
  • Expected to run one event/ month
  • Will be partnered with a nearby sniff and will be expected to send bogrim to that sniff once a month or on a need basis depending on sniff
  • Stipend: $1000/semester

ROSH SNIFF:

  • Fully in charge of and participating in one the sniffim around the country
  • Expected to spend Shabbat at the sniff twice/month, in which they will run onegs, peulot, etc.
  • Is expected to meet with Madrichim during the week (likely via zoom) to help prepare peulot, etc.
  • Best for someone with prior BA experience Stipend: $250/Shabbat in the community

CHINUCH FELLOWSHIP:

  • Will do research and brainstorm ideas to help with Chinuch materials for BANA
  • Works closely with Batsheva and Avishai
  • Will receive certificate and letter of recommendation at the end of fellowship

TORAH LEARNING INITIATIVE:

  • Runs weekly Chaburah for highschool chanichim (ideally in person)
  • Once a month Bnei Akiva will provide money for food/ a bigger event
  • Potential of a national shabbaton for all participants
