Over 1,000 people tuned in “babayit” to celebrate Israel at this year’s virtual Yom HaZikaron & Yom HaAtzmaut Tekes Ma’avar!
Featuring renowned Torah educator Rachelle Fraenkel, Bnei Akiva Executive Director Rav Shaul Feldman, as well as community leaders and young professionals from the Upper West Side, the Tekes was both powerful and meaningful. As the grief of Yom HaZikaron transitioned to the joy of Yom HaAtzmaut, our community joined together in an uplifting Tefilah Chagigit led by Yarone Tokayer and concluded with a jubilant concert featuring Eitan Katz.
But the celebrations didn’t stop there! At our Yom HaAtzmaut after parties, over 100 young professionals tuned in for a cooking tutorial with The Katamon Kitchen and Israeli Zumba with Marla Rottenstreich where we danced and cooked the night away.
