Hadracha Evening - Bnei Akiva of the US & Canada

By: Eitan Lindsider | Mazkir, Atlanta

This past Wednesday, the Atlanta Madrichim along with the Shul’s youth group leaders were given the opportunity to learn about some strategies to best serve the kids in our community from Dr. Asher Lindenbaum. We discussed different ways to handle kids who are acting out, be it one kid in the group or the entire group. One of the most important things we discussed is that not all kids will respond to the same type of reinforcement. While one might quiet down by taking them aside and speaking with them, others might respond better to something more positive, such as the promise of candy. By knowing each of the kids personally and what works best for them, everyone will have a much smoother experience throughout Snif and any other event.
