What is your first memory of Bnei Akiva?

My 1st memory of Bnei Akiva was going to snif in Edgware, London way back in 3rd grade.

Why do you think it’s so important to be involved in Bnei Akiva as a High Schooler?

Once you reach high school your personal values for the rest of your life begin to become clearer. If Torah, Avodah, and Zionism are important to you Bnei Akiva is the obvious option to contribute your precious time.

Tell us your favourite Bnei Akiva experience?

One of my many favorite Bnei Akiva experience was in Manhigut when we went on a scavenger hunt around the city and ended up in our school parking lot where our Shevet name, Orot, was lit on fire.

Where is your dream place to live in Israel?

My dream places to live in Israel would be somewhere in the Gush, like Elazar or in Beit Shemesh.

What does Torah V Avodah mean to you?

It’s a tough decision but I’m going to have to go with : Torah V’Avodah means actively living a life committed to the Torah that has been passed down from generation to generation, as well as contributing in your own personal way to Medinat/ Eretz Yisrael.

Who would you rather be David Ben Gurion or Golda Meir?

Ben Gurion. A leader from youth, the founder and 1st prime minister of the modern state of Israel. He knew when to fight and when to negotiate.

What one item is a must to pack for a Bnei Akiva Shabbaton?

A nice kippah sruga and whatever Linda asks you to take.

Most meaningful Zionist/Jewish quote?

Either “ Har Habayit Beyadeinu,” or ואהבת לרעך כמוך.
