This past Sunday, we had another Manhigut program at the Boca Raton Synagogue (BRS). Several ninth graders joined in as we listened to a presentation by Zohar from JNF on how to be a leader. Some key points that were stressed were: action, making up one’s mind, and having a role model. Additionally, the ninth graders learned a little about the history of the State of Israel and the modern State of Israel. Coupled with a cool poster, Zohar taught about the different areas in Israel. We also played with Shmulik the Ball. Sadly, Shmulik was lost. After another small discussion and pizza, the program was over.
